Native Viewer

LogMark includes a built-in vault browser. See your entries, complete tasks, and browse project summaries without opening Obsidian.

Opening the Viewer

Click the LogMark avatar or orb in the system tray area. The extended surface opens with the viewer.

Dashboard

The default view shows:

• Today's entries grouped by type
• Entry count statistics (tasks, ideas, blocks, decisions, diary)
• Quick access to recent captures

Tree Navigation

The left panel shows your vault structure as a tree:

Click folders to expand. Click files to view entries in the content panel.

Entry Rendering

Entries are parsed and rendered with type-aware formatting:

• Tasks - Show deadline, completion status, and postponement count
• Workflows - Show elapsed time and session timeline
• All entries - Show parsed tags, routes, and context footer

Summary Views

Project and Domain Summaries

Browse projects or domains to see summary cards with entry counts per type. See at a glance which projects have open tasks, recent ideas, or unresolved blocks.

Category Browsing

View all projects or all domains as a list with aggregate statistics.

Inbox Summary

See unrouted entries across all types - tasks, ideas, blocks, decisions, and diary entries that haven't been routed to a project or domain.

Type Summary

View all entries of a specific type across your entire vault. See all tasks regardless of route, all ideas across every project, or all blocks that need attention.

Search

Search across all logmark files from the toolbar. Results show matching entries with file location and preview text.

Toolbar

• Today - Jump to today's entries
• Recent - Show entries from the last 7 days
• Back/Forward - Navigation history
• Open in Obsidian - Open the current file in Obsidian
• Copy Path - Copy the current file path to clipboard

Inline Editing

• Complete tasks - Click or press Space to toggle task completion (adds strikethrough in markdown)
• Entry context menu - Right-click entries for actions: edit, copy, open in Obsidian
